Types of Poker available at li788
From experienced players to beginners — play multiple game types all in one place at li788.
Texas Hold'em
The most popular poker variant in the world. Each player receives 2 hole cards and uses 5 community cards to build the best possible hand and beat the opposition. It requires deep strategy and calculation, making it a favourite among seasoned players.
Omaha Poker
Similar to Texas Hold'em, but each player receives 4 hole cards and must use exactly 2 of them. More possible card combinations mean more action in every hand. Omaha is a favourite among experienced poker players.
Shan Koe Mee
A traditional Myanmar card game that has been popular for generations. Played with 3 cards, the player whose card value is closest to 30 wins. Rounds end fast, so players tend to keep going back for more.
3 Card Poker
A game played with just 3 cards against the dealer. Form a hand from Straight Flush down to One Pair — if your hand beats the dealer's, you win. Choosing Pair Plus or raising the Ante pays out higher rewards.
Video Poker
A game that combines slot machine style with poker gameplay. You're dealt 5 cards and can discard and redraw whichever ones you want. Variants like Jacks or Better and Deuces Wild are available. Since you only play against the computer, the pressure is low.
Caribbean Stud Poker
A game where you play against the dealer, not other players. Form a Poker hand with 5 cards — beat the dealer's qualifier and you can win the combined payout. You can also keep going for the Progressive Jackpot.
Poker Strategy — Ways to Win
Luck alone won't carry you in Poker. Skilled players put these strategies to use.
-
Starting Hand Selection: Learn which cards to hold and which to fold. Both refusing to bet with a strong hand and betting with a weak one will drain your stack.
-
Position Control: The last player to act can see what opponents do before deciding — that difference is significant.
-
Bankroll Management: To avoid going broke in a single session, keep your buy-in below 5% of your total bankroll.
-
Don't Overuse Bluffs: If you're going to bluff, only do it at unexpected moments. Bluffing too often lets opponents read you and you'll end up losing your stack.
-
Understand Pot Odds: A player who can read pot odds makes the right decisions over the long run and keeps their bankroll intact.
